Arbitrariness of Mobile companies in India in the name of VAS

There are many mobile operators operating in India like Airtel, vodafona, Idea, reliance, BSNL etc. Almost all of them baffling the customors in the name of Value Added Services (VAS). Many of them take the advantage of customer’s ignorance and start any value added service (VAS) without any permission or consent of customer. As a result customer suffers a lot as his prepaid balance get deducted for a service he never applied. These companies use technological tools like flash message for offering such VAS like cricket alert or some quiz or something else. Though economically weaker and less educated people from rural India get trapped in such traps (like flash message etc.) of starting a VAS unknowingly, urban customers also sometimes complain of similar things. The national Do Not Disturb policy of TRAI seems to be a total failure here as the operators are openly making a fun of law and do not take care of any rule and regulation when there is a matter of making money. When a call is made at customer care number, no one take care of the complaint and the service is not removed even after repeated requests and the balance is also not returned.
If you or any of your near and dear ever been a victim of such arbitrariness of mobile companies, please give your comments and share this article as much as possible.

  1. sir, i had undergone ksharsutra 4 wks ago, but after 4 epesodes of weekly changing o thread, somehow it came out of the tract. I dont know what is the reason of this where slipped knot or breaking of it, but during the time of next changng it was not at its site. then surgeon did the probing, but he was unexperieced in ksharsutra as I work in the remote area. this has caused a lot discomfort and also caused a new internal opening. I am very distressed now, what to do, as I had one fistulectomy earlier. thanks.
